  Product Description

  The Tracer BN series solar regulators use the latest MPPT technology (Maximum Power Point Tracking) and advanced tracking algorithm to make any solar panel operate at its ideal voltage which then allows the solar panel to produce the maximum available power.  Compared to conventional PWM controller, this MPPT technology increases the charge efficiency up to 30% and potentially decrease the power of solar array needed.

  The BN series of solar controllers improve on the success of earlier version of Tracers MPPT solar regulator range by increasing peak conversion efficiency to 98% and high tacking efficiency up to 99%.  These BN models are also fully adjustable to ensure they are compatible with any battery type including flooded, AGM GEL or Li-Ion.

  Optional accessories for the BN range of Solar regulators include a remote temperature sensor and remote panel.  The remote temperature sensor continuously monitors the temperature of the battery and adjust the charge voltage from the regulator to ensure your batteries are charged at their correct voltage with respect to temperature.  Charging at too high of a voltage will gas your batteries causing them to loose capacity, while charging them at a too low of a voltage will sulphate them and thus reduce capacity and shorten their life.  The MT-50 remote panel is also optional for BN range of solar controllers and will provide detailed information on the performance of your solar array while also providing the ability to programme the regulator direct from the display.

  All BN Tracer MPPT regulators also have the ability to step charge voltage down from higher voltage panels.  This is of particular help when you have a 24V solar panel and are charging a 12V battery system.
