Electrical Warrant of Fitness

PRE-WARRANT INSPECTIONS

Every boat requires an Electrical WOF to plug into Shore Power at the marina. This is a legal requirement and ensures you and your families safe use of 240volt power in the marine environment. 

Your Electrical WOF is valid for 4 years from date of issue. The WOF covers the 240volt power supply to your vessel and distribution of 240volt throughout the vessel and the earthing systems for the electrical system.

We work in conjunction with an electrical inspector to ensure the process is as painless as possible and we can pre evaluate your vessel prior to inspection to reduce the likhihood of failure and re-inspection.

Our team keep up to date with changes to the Electrical Warrant Regulations.  We can advise you if your vessel requires any work to reach current standards.  This can save on the cost of having a vessel re-inspected in the event it is failed by the Electrical Inspector.
